What's the word (if any) on the competitions? Is Nick just taking a well deserved vacation? I note he hasn't posted anything in over a week, so I certainly hope it's just RL crowding in rather than something unpleasant. Anyone know what's up?

I sent him a query I think on Saturday and he said that real life was interfering but that he'd try to get one posted that day. It seems he's really snowed under.

FYI, Nick posted a comment to the AngbandBase thread today in which he says:

"As for how it's going, currently not at all - RL has currently been absorbing all the time I usually put into *bands (and more). I'm hoping to get back into it all some time in the next couple of months, but that's a hope rather than a promise.

And while I'm here, apologies for the lack of competition at the moment. I'll try to get one up this weekend."

So it seems he's o.k., just swamped.
