Earth vs Water - Thorin & Ulmo

I just found The Trident of Ulmo and Thorin's Shield after killing Cantoras (sources of acid immunity are like buses - none for ages, then two come along at once). The descriptions are a little intriguing though...

Thorin: '... this little metal shield is proof against the Element of Earth'

Ulmo: 'Ulmo laughs to scorn the dread powers of the undead, and is utterly in command of the Element of water'.

So acid is both Earth and Water?

I can't really suggest removing the acid immunity from either, as acid really is a pain, but just thought it was interesting enough to mention. Possibly one of the descriptions could be changed.

Shouldn't earth be shards in line with the hounds? Earth hounds = shards, Water hounds = acid.
