Sil - first decent attempt, need advice

Not very deep into the game, really, but this is my first attempt that's really felt survivable below 400' and hasn't succumbed quickly to YASD.

Big problems I'm having right now are:

1) I run out of arrows...a lot (I try to only use flaming arrows when I really need to, but arrows have still been really sparse on this run)

2) Not really sure what direction to develop in next. I'm sure I'll need some song eventually for sharpness, if nothing else...maybe a minimal bit of smithing to provide my own ammunition? Just pour more into archery and stealth? At a loss here...

Note - I'd been as deep as 550'...but was out of arrows at the time and very very quickly thought better of it.

The easiest solution to (1) is to spend 800xp on 2pts of smithing + weaponsmith, and then making arrows at forges. This, of course, requires you to _find_ forges

I personally go heavy on stealth with archers b/c it lets you pick positional battles as well as conserve arrows when necessary, but that's just me. Vanish is helpful, but I'd want 16-20 stealth to be able to stay reliably concealed.

Get focus and concentration. As the perception abilities get expensive quickly I try to avoid lore master with archers. Opinion may differ, but focus, concentration, keen senses and listen are mandatory imho.

I always take weaponsmith with archers and even with it I am often short on arrows in midgame. 1lb shortbow is a fine weapon too (for a STR 1 archer).

I have a more biased aggressive strategy:
Get Charge and Power from the Melee tree for big damage
Get Dodging and Sprinting so that you can get away from danger when you know it's time to run! Sometimes, Sprinting can be used offensively to charge-to-hit and run.
Use weapons two-handed for more damage dice (if you want to and are willing to sacrifice your shield)!

These are the staple of most of my Sil runs. But, everyone has a different winning strategy, even if that means killing Morgoth!
