Hellhounds are already C monsters; the only non-unique C with a breath attack. Fire hounds are the Z monster with a fire breath.

Also thinking of it a bit I think I see one of possible reasons how the devs came to fire (and other stuff) breathing hounds, one of the classic Sherlock Holmes stories "The Hound of the Baskervilles" had a hound which looked as if it breathed flames:

>A hound it was, an enormous coal-black hound, but not such a hound as mortal eyes have ever seen. Fire burst from its open mouth...

Question regarding my dump, here : http://angband.oook.cz/ladder-show.php?id=16408


The character history shows the same number of turns for every event (114900), while I would expect to get the turn count at which that event happened. Looks like a bug to me, or am I mistaken somewhere?

Bug. I have that same in my char. It looks like you get same turncount to every event until you made the first dump, but for some reason sequential dumps of that same char don't have that problem (you actually see increased turncount).
