Vanilla throwing bug?

While playing the new competition character I tried to throw the dagger I was wielding at a fleeing monster but the game only prompted my inventory, it wouldn't let me access the weapon I was using. Sorry if this has been mentioned before or if this is intentional behavior for V... which seems silly since the dagger is already in my hand. I bought it at the weapon store so it isn't cursed. I haven't tried throwing anything in a really long time so perhaps this is old news.

So, not wielding a shovel, then?

I told ya all there is a sinister plot to cripple throwing in V. OTOH, throwing your main weapon is quite dangerous, so this may be the pretext of the plotters. In Un we allow the main weapon to return to your hand (in huge simplification), so the problem is less serious. As soon as V has a quiver (am I blind or does it still have none?) throwing ammunition from the quiver will come naturally, so perhaps kicking-throwing the sandal on your foot or the dagger or shield in your hand will also become possible.

I'm pretty convinced this has always been the case in V.

Wow, I coulda sworn I had thrown my wielded weapon before. I guess that was someplace else. In any case, feature request!
