Possible Bug in 3.1.0 - Temp Resist reduces damage by 1/2?
My current character (Level 50 Mage) is facing off with the Tarrasque and is having trouble beating him because his breath weapons are so strong. I have single resists against Cold and Disenchantment and Fire Immunity. A single resisted Frost Breath does 533 damage (which is fine). If I cast the Resist Cold spell for Double Resistance, his Frost Breath does 266 damage. Shouldn't it be doing 178 damage (1/3 of 533)? Also, I saw a Disenchantment breath do 475 damage. What is the max damage from this breath with Disenchantment resistance?
Thanks, Rick |
