Competition 65 is now available from the competition page; it is an FAangband Ent Rogue.

Note that Comp 64 still has a week to run.

A couple of quick tips for starting out:

You may want to move to (or at least set a recall point in) a big town at some point (for the better shops). Belegost is probably the best bet at first, although Menegroth and Gondolin shopkeepers will probably be friendlier to ents.
You can order scrolls potions and town books in the Travelling Merchant (shop 0) in small towns. My first step was to order !Speed and C&T and I&I (rogues don't use S&E); I also ordered ?Recall and ?tLevel in case the alchemist runs out. They are expensive at the merchant, but better than nothing.

...and the useful thing about Ents is that when not meleeing, they are hard to detect on tree grids (denoted by Hidden on the status line). Higher level monsters will find you more easily though.

Pav - I've just noticed that max depth doesn't really work for FA. Alternatives I can think of off the top of my head are check for the biggest depth of recall points, check for the biggest depth in the notes, or just check for guardians killed (again in the notes, I guess) and only add a depth for one of those. None of these is perfect, I'm afraid...

What is C&T, I&I, and S&E, I thought I knew most band abbreviations but those have me stumped.

The mage books - Conjurings & Tricks, Incantations & Illusions, and Sorcery & Evocations. (It took me a minute to figure them out too.)

I'd just hide the column from the view in the table, if you don't mind.
