Competition 77

Competition 77 is now available from here; it is a level 18 Hengband 1.7.2 High-Elf Warrior. Note that Hengband 1.7.2 has not been generally released; a windows version can be found here. I don't know of any other version; this one does seem to work fine for me in wine.

Note also that comp 76 still has a couple of days to run.

What exactly does the turn counter count? I ask, because my character has been playing for 8 game days compared with Dave's 15, yet somehow I've managed to rack up twice as many game turns as he has despite trying to be conservative with turn count. Does he have more turns spend running around in the dungeons while I've got more time spent walking overland or something?

I've had more real-time played than he has because I'm a little out of practice with Heng (especially aggravating characters) compared to him, is that a factor?
