[Z] Help a noob

Hello guys, I'm trying to learn Zangband and having some technical difficulty. In particular, the option to choose random quests numbers doesn't appear when I create a character. What's going on? I'm playing on Mac PPC (the OS X version seemed to have even more bugs), 2.7.4.

Random quests are gone in Version 2.7.4. If you want some quests you have to find a castle "shop" in one of the towns.
