Hey, I'm new, I joined mostly to ask some questions and get to know ToME players but who knows, I could to some other stuff during my stay.

So people still play ToME, huh? I guess it's my bias for only playing games that have been in active development recently, lol! I get bored with old roguelikes for some reason... :P I do remember being addicted to ToME back in the day, though - now if 3.0 would ever become reasonably stable!

Welcome, Adino.

I still play ToME once in a blue moon. I love the concept of the symbiant, and I enjoy the difference between the different themed dungeons as well as different towns. I love wilderness and exploration.

That's the aspect I love about ToME. Being a long time nethack player it's good to get out in the fresh air. xD

Welcome (from a relative noob here myself).
FYI ToME development isn't completely dead. There is still a small dev team. Their immediate goal is to get the T-engine into beta. This should happen "relatively" quickly (3 months?). The actual ToME 3 module has been put on hold until after the T-engine is in place.

I may be misremembering this, but there's also a chance there will be an upcoming release of 2.3.6 which will deal with a few issues.
