Well it was not on my armor of elvenkind (rchaos), but I had forgotten my shield of elvenkind! Rats- it was rlight and I am a dwarf... This is v 3.09b, and rchaos does not mean rconfusion...

Each individual piece of elvenkind armor has a ranomly-selected resist, so just keep looking, eventually you will find a piece with the resist you want.

I was able to get Totila, and then had to wait on 1st level to get an *Identify* spell. In my excitement of then getting Thalkettoth, I sold the Armor of Elvinkind, thus losing rchaos...

Chaos resistance is not worth losing out on the +3 speed that Thalkettoth gives you, let alone its other benefits. Just make certain you keep the basic 4 covered.
(Chaos attacks are rare, and their most dangerous side-effect is confusion, which confusion resistance naturally covers) |
