OMFG OMFG OMFG !!
I just noticed Penance finished re-runs and is updating with fresh pages! So I went to reread the old pages, to get myself back into story, and I absolutely adore it! Cool.

Thats really odd, I was gonna put up a post earlier plugging how great Penance is.
Seriously, every time I read it I start checking everyday for a new page, then I forget about it and - woo-hoo! - I have 5-6 installments to read when I remember again. The artwork and the story just get better and better, its so good that when the story finally wraps up I'll be printing out the lot so that I can read it all graphic novel style whilst lounging in bed. If you haven't checked it out, just do so. You won't be disappointed. EDIT - I'd link it here, but its in the links section. If that makes a few people check out some of the other excellent stuff oook has linked, the more the better.

I just went through a reread the whole thing. Now I think its even better, and I understand parts of it a lot more, too.
