Nice going.

I see you've put as many points into Will as into Evasion -- perhaps your defence needed to be a little higher for the endgame? Or were you mostly managing to kill things stealthily?

Yes, I think maybe I should have gone for more Evasion. Partly that's because I had slightly better equipment before it was acided. I was going for the point of constitution and also poison resistance from the Will ability tree. I think I was mostly holding my own, though - the problem was falling through a trapdoor and finding 2 Kemenraukos, a Ruby serpent and a few Greater werewolves all at once!

Ah, I was wondering what you were doing fighting such a variety of enemies. Trapdoors can be very nasty. It was good to drink the potion of quickness in such a case, and perhaps a herb of rage would have been good too? Though it seems you only got one round after drinking the potion, so spending the last round eating might not have been too good.

Orcrist at 150 ft was a stroke of early luck!

I had whirlwind attack, so was standing where that would work. I couldn't quite decide if I should be running to a corridor, though.

Having Orcrist was really fun, particularly because I had lots of spider slaying things and wolf slaying things too - so I could see what was coming because they would glow. At one point I had a little pet orc that I was persuading to follow me, so that I'd get extra light from Orcrist!

Wow, that is not something I'd thought of! It could theoretically be useful when fighting shadow creatures too.
