Just killing off some Ironman Hobbit Druids :)

This guy is going pretty good, biggest problem is lack of consumables. I'm playing with no wilderness right now so no chance of stores, and potions and scrolls only drop one at a time. Chose Hobbit for high stealth and proficiency with slings.

Martial arts even without power strike are pretty powerful, iv'e been killing orcs and ogres barehanded no problem. I think next time around i will start with powerstrike for the extra damage. Meditation is nice, but mana pools are really small without a gear boost.

Not really sure how the second and third Specialty are aquired in Ironman, i got a necro to level 20 but that's not it, dungeon guardian i think.

I was playing an Ent for a while but the fire vulnerability eventually got me. Does anyone know if this goes away if you Shapeshift?

Oh, and i'm not sure if Druids can use shields or if they screw up Martial art damage.

Hehe, saw that one coming. Player ghosts seem to get most of my guys here, just unlucky on this one. Fight was going good i just cast blink to finish him off and landed right next to a Lost soul he hit me reduced my wisdom, i killed him but lacked the mana to cast fire bolt one last time at Robert Ruehlma, the Zombie. Fun class though.

Specialties are still from dungeon guardians in ironman; IIRC you get the option of fighting or avoiding them. In wilderness ironman there are no shops after your starting town, and you can still go to multiple dungeons; once you defeat a guardian, you get a choice of where to go next.

Thanks for the info Nick, I really like the pseudo id system, and notes on items (who dropped em, where etc.) is awesome. Might give a mage a shot now, having a reliable reusable escape is really nice to have.
