Currently at clvl 26 doing 146 combined normal damage with The Spear of Hagen, with AC 116, +4 Base Speed, 263 MaxHP, and 34 mana

I wanted to try the Wild-Talent again...This time as a Beastman Wild-Talent for something really bizarre. So far, nothing game-breaking to discourage me from playing. I think I had more entertainment with this one than most of my past Wild-Talents, with the Beastman to add even more chaotic measures into the mix.

Completed handful of town quests, the first 2 Angband quests, and the Labyrinth (as my usual). The Mimic quest and the Arch-viles in DQ1 were B-R-U-T-A-L. They looked like they were literally double-moving despite me having > 90 AC probably because of the Very Bad Stealth and 200-250 range HP I had during those times.

AND look at the kinds of mutations I have already at clvl 26:

Completed several more town quests - Old Man Willow, Dark elven lords, Sting, and Barrow Downs. The first two were not bad, with my high AC and Immolation Fire Aura carrying me all the way. The latter two were just downright *brutal*, even with Anti-magic on board. Although I wore an Anti-Magic Barbarian Talisman at the time, this did not stop a Death knight from summoning a Night mare or an Oriental Vampire from casting Nether bolts. The summoned Night mare and Oriental Vampire nearly killed me in that quest. I saw my HP drop to red double digits multiple times. After wasting my Potions of Healing and some Potions of Healing I was eventually able to take out the Death knight, Oriental Vampire, and Night mare, and the rest of the monsters of the entire quest. I actually needed to find Sting, which took a while, to for the needed melee to overpower the Night mare. Also, I completed forgot that I did have Protection from Evil on board, which would have made the quest easier in the first place. The Barrow Downs quest was a doozy too, especially given that I didn't have Nether resistance OR Reflection. Just Anti-magic. The Anti-magic didn't stop the Emperor Wights from casting Nether bolts. AGAIN, more RED double-digit HP moments. Somehow, I managed to stay alive and overpower all of the Wights once and for all. In both quests, I found a number of goods.

With the Sting quest and Barrow Downs quests out of the way, Camelot will be next. This shouldn't be that bad since I have an AC of 132 and extra Potions of Speed. Right now, I'm at a 'special' Camelot 16 trying to figure why it's special.

Moving along. The artifact at Camelot 16 nothing more than a STR boosting randart Jingasa with Sound vulnerability at the same time.

The rest of the Camelot was nothing short of eventful:
I tripped an evil rune trap at Camelot 29 / Clvl 28. This evil rune wasn'tjust evil...it summoned Sir Gawain who almost killed me with mana bolts. Camelot 35 was brutal. Even AC 140+ didn't mean I was invincible to King Arthur and his troops. I took down only Sir Gareth and Sir Galahad for the time being. I teleported away and found myself near the Questing Beast, also no joke. I eventually prepared myself with resistances to Nexus and Chaos, and killed the Questing Beast. And it dropped the Stone of Lore! After that, I tried to get back at King Arthur, Sir Lancelot, and the regular Camelot knights, but stopped short of completing the Camelot of a nearby Quantum dot explosion. So, I recalled out. Aside from the Stone of Lore, I did get more great stuff as well, including a Scroll of Acquirement from Sir Kay(?).

To make use of remainingtime up to the 4 hour mark, I did a short sting at the Dragon's lair. The Scroll of Acquirement netted me a mediocre armour of Celestial Protection. What made the trip worth it was a Ring of Protection [+4] on the group which, after being *IDed* was found to have resistances to Shard, Nether, Chaos, and Disenchantment. After that, I fought off more monsters at the Angwil swamp and moved up to clvl 30. At clvl 30, I received the Telepathy mutation. Awesome, right? At well, the RNG gave me my first bad mutation...Albino, which hurt my CON by a large amount.

I think I'll go back to the Camelot soon.

I went to the Camelot to finish off King Arthur and Sir Lancelot without a hitch. But, I stayed to figure out a way to take on Mordred, who was much worse than any of the named Camelot knights. Well, I didn't have a chance because I held down the down arrow keypress a bit too long.

Ok the next time I play a Wild-Talent, I'm going for a high HP / high - CON race.
