Currently at clvl 21 possessing a Water hound doing 161 combined melee damage, AC 74, -1 Base Speed, 210/210 HP, 59/59 mana, and 32250 Au.

The story:
It's the 1 hour mark and I'm at clvl 21, looking like a strong contender. I did a few town quests, yes. But, the Tengu Swords and Mimic quests were downright brutal. I started the Tengu Swords quest with an AC of only 37....only one piece of armour of Elemental Protectiion (including Acid). As I proceeded, those bastard Tengus were just AWFUL! At one point, I was on brink of death with a Death Sword...it slashed me into the RED zone...and IT MISSED X 6 TIMES!! I had to use a stack of Wands of Frost Bolts in order to take those Death Swords out. The Mimic quest was nuts too -- I started the quest with no Free Action, no Anti-Magic, no Poison resistance, and an atrocious AC...really low...around 40(?). I had some Potions of Resist Cold, a Potion of Resistance, ~5 Potions of Speed, and 40+ !CCWs. I even sold some other ego armour that had Poison resistance in hopes that I would accumulate enough Au to buy some Black Market Amulet that would give Blindness resistance + Free Action + See Invisible. But, it was still too tad expensive and I couldn't buy it. So you know what...I winged it like a motherfucker and took on the Mimic quest in style. I used a Potion of Speed, Teleported into their space, and stomped them. At some points, I used the Potion of Resistance and Potion of Resist Cold to my aid. When shit got of hand, I stepped away, recovered, and barged right in and kept my Speed up at all times. In the end, the Mimic quest was totally worth it = Tetsu-geta of Flame, Thranduil, and a Hell Harness. The reward for completing the Mimic quest was definitely worth it too....a Ring of Protection {LiDkNtNx, Clvl 19, Mimic quest reward}. And once I switched to the new finds, my melee capabilities hit the roof!

Note that I only saved a screenshot of a message segment occurring in the Tengu Swords quest. I didn't save the actual insane scenes because I seriously didn't think Hugo$oul 5465 was going to survive either quest all, let alone both. Those were really serious twists of fate from, there...from abysmal to awesome.
