The interface issues are really annoying - many of the interface options don't work properly, pressing the l key in look mode doesn't work, !* inscription doesn't do anything, and so on. I was actually surprised when inscribing a rod with @z3 still worked properly...

I haven't figured out yet which items are properly aligned and which are not, but most weapons seem to be poorly aligned.
- with the auto_display_lists option turned off, prompts to choose an item from my inventory still blank the top several lines of the map (even though this space is not used by the list)
- the carry_query_flag option doesn't seem to do anything regardless of the state of the always_pickup option.
- when standing on a square with a single item and pressing g to pick up that item, I still have to press a to select that item
- the adventurer's guild building in the town seems to be useless (since I guess quests were removed?); also, "Qst: None" in the left column is not very useful
- the damage calculations when examining a weapon seem to be consistently off by one - for instance, "Average base damage/hit: 14 based on a damage calculation of 1d7 + 11 damage."

I've generally been enjoying the actual gameplay, though it is possible that confusion and paralysis are too nasty early on.

The game was getting pretty tedious anyway - I was finding useful items at a very slow rate and was still lacking basic resists and FA. I might try again later, but I think you either have to get lucky with a couple really great finds or be very bored scumming shallow levels and/or the town.
