THIS. This was an interesting run.

I don't understand what is even going on anymore. I've had a forge on almost every single level since the guaranteed forge on the second one. A forge at 50, 100, 200, and now one on 250. The problem is I don't have the smithing for it!

Now...I just use-ID'ed _earthquakes, and it destroyed the door that led to the forge and the rest of the level. I didn't even think that was possible. Now I'm trapped on the other side. Hopefully if I use earthquakes a few more times, it'll remove the quartz in the way?

Oh my god. WHY!!! It only had 2 charges? And I can't access the 3 use forge on the other side anymore...not enough experience to get leaping either. :(

So let that be a lesson that if you ID staves, you stand near a stairs, with an enemy in sight, with one door open and one closed, but not too close to the door else you might have this happen, and ideally, with some cursed equipment on.

Time to throw myself off a ledge! That forge is dead to me. RIP.

Oh, I'm dead. Literally. 350 feet was a bit too much with only 2 archery and 3 evasion. Shoulda taken the upshaft right away.

There was another 3 use forge on that level that I saw in the post-game screen. I don't know what are the odds of that happening, but this was quite the interesting game.

If only I survived that encounter with the orc champion, or had the foresight to grab point blank archery sooner and 2 extra points in archery sooner instead of saving it for (artifice).

I'm probably using my experience suboptimally. It seems absurd that I have to survive 300-350 feet with only 2 archery and 3 evasion.

Oh and I'm quite certain I could have survived the encounter with my first orc champion, if I hadn't shut myself out with _earthquakes from that 3 use forge on 250 feet. I had enough smithing to craft +2 rings of accuracy/evasion as well as something else.

I found a steel chest earlier, which was why I pumped 4 perception so early. The chest turned out to just have 2 +1 cloaks. That was so not worth it. If I hadn't wasted that experience, I might have been able to craft artifacts at those forges.
