Testing a different strategy, delaying loremaster, favoring evasion and light armour early on, and using only 2H'ed weapons. So far, it feels amazing.

Serpentine Ring of Barahir is a sweet find. rPois and freedom of movement means I won't need to get poison resistance or sink experience into the will tree at all for quite a while.

Shortbow of Celegorm, I pretty much dropped as soon as I found it. I don't see the point of wielding shortbows when I have crap archery. And the -1 grace means I would suffer penalties to will and perception. Also I've been using throwing weapons over arrows. Better to-hit and damage.

Lol! I died. Mistook a snow troll for a mountain troll.

Why do snow trolls look the same as mountain trolls...

why were you using a warhammer of a bastard sword of hador's house... (-2, 5d4) vs. (-1, 3d7)[+1] (remember you have a sword affinity)

I like the extra guaranteed damage. When you hit with a warhammer, you get 5 damage minimum. 3 with bastard sword. I always swapped to the warhammer in 1v1 scenarios with trolls since they won't flee when I hit them with the slay weapon. I used the bastard sword for everything though. The extra to-hit and evasion point do look nice. Don't know if it would have made a difference.
