I saved the character before the fight so I could go back and try to take on Morgoth using several different methods. The post shown is the original un-saved win.

Killed Morgoth twice more using the following restrictions:

1) No runes of protection - Interesting but stilll pretty easy. Just had to banish a lot more.

2) No runes, banish, or mass banish - This was fun. Good challenging fight. Used up a lot of potions. His earthquake hits actually help more then they hurt. Keeps summoned monsters out of line of sight. Was wierd just letting me character stand there and get beat on.

Not sure what race, class combo to play next. May try a randart character. May load up 3.0.4b and test that out too.
