Cruised through Mount Doom chugging mouse oils, fighting things only when they were standing on the stairs. Level 99, as always, was a pain, and I was reduced to summoning Sky Drakes with geomancy and letting the summoning competitions begin. Fireflash "not working" against Great Wyrms of Power is a serious problem for this character. At any rate, with all my dragons and all the demons and uniques (I killed about four ringwraiths two or three times each, since something was summoning them), it's a good thing Mt. Doom is quasi-persistent, since I had to make four trips back and forth to cart all the loot back. Still no junkart of satisfy hunger. Still no gaunlets of eol, robe of great luck, or anything I'm really looking for.

Morgoth was a bit of an anticlimax, since I just summoned up about 20 earth elementals and sky drakes and such and let them have at it while I cowered conveniently in a nice little stone prison. Ungoliant bled to death, I think, because he was summoned and wasn't there at the end of the fight. Dismissed the hordee, and let fly with a fireflash right between Morgoth's eyes. Still no useful drops, though I guess I could use the Crown since I don't have telepathy and Hammerhand is getting old.
