Hententmon Metal Warrior... not terribly powerful but builds up meter VERY quickly. I got confusion and fear resistance from some items so I was able to kill Haejin and gained a couple of levels in one shot. Left me with an intelligence of 3 and I forgot what all my items are, but it's worth it.

I killed all of Kira's guards first, keeping a distance from their guardrooms and letting them come at me as they woke up so I wouldn't have to face more than one or two at a time. Still had to teleport a few times, used up two healing potions and a life insurance scroll. Not the best way to solve the quest, but the guards did drop a few stat gain potions and other good stuff so it was worth it.
