Get better cloak, helmet, boots and gloves.
Enchant your scalemail more.
Get see invis, from headwear, a ring, or a weapon.

Then you can dive to 900' or so.

YuggiBeno died during what was supposed to just be a trip to go down and waste time and pick up some stuff while the shops restocked. The out-of-depth hummerhorns at 400' had different ideas. I was not prepared for this sort of attack, which ended up me being boxed into a little room (2X2) with one door, which lead into another room filled with hummerhorns.

Any thing that could have saved YuggiBeno was impossible, becausee he was too confused to read any scrolls.

well.. this was the furthest I had gotten with a character.. and I find the more time I spend with the character the harder it is to see them die. So long Yuggi..
