heh mostly luck. All I did for my death mold was kill something with magic (or if i can't, being a deathmold, i can blink around and away :P) and possess its corpse. I kept doing this with slightly stronger monsters until i managed to get ancalagon and darkgod, then i just summoned monsters and hid in walls :P
