JOAT's objective was to win with no skills over 23.9 (so, no skills at 24 or higher). His kit was almost done, he had the One Ring (thanks, Feagwath!) and had just one random quest to go, but it was a princess quest for leveled greater titans and they mashed him to bits.

JOAT is interesting for a couple reasons. First, he made it awfully far for someone with only low level skills. Melee characters with good stats and equipment can do just fine with low skills as long as they are patient about getting past the tricky transition from early game to mid-game. Second, its not every day you see a dump of a dead character that has the One Ring in his inventory.

JOAT continued cheerfully buying stat gain potions and various other things that seemed useful until I suddenly realized he was broke. Looks like I was a bit premature with that decision.
