So, I cheesed the start of this character by scumming for a good Ego item off Thieves Quest and Farmer Maggot. Around the 20th iteration or so, Maggot finally dropped an armor of Resistance. That boosted me to Clvl 21.

From there, I skipped Sewer and Logrus Master to dive into Vault. Grabbing Sting was relatively painless despite the terrible stealth because not many hard monsters were in the quadrant where Sting lay.

Reading ?oAcq in Dragon's Lair gave a Dragon Helm with RNether, which was nice because it boosted my clvl up a little higher.

Next, I had to upgrade my mount from the Horse turned Unruly Horse. Headed to shallow waters and grabbed myself a 5-headed hydra (tried to get a 7-headed, but didn't have RBlind at the time, so that was a bust).

Headed into Tower after that, and after about five tries, a Quartz Vein was spawned there. Continued farming those until I had 250k gold, and Riding was at Skilled. Kill count was like 2000 of those.

Did Mimic and Tengu/Death Sword quests, but found nothing of note. >_< Vapor Quest gave me the usual assortment of good mutations. I was pleased to get Panic Hit and Resist Elements, and very peeved that I got Eat Magic (the awesomest mutation in existence.. granted that you can cast spells).

Upgraded mount again to AMHD by skimming the Dragon's Lair; was pleased to see it was +15 speed. Took on Cloning Pits and Old Castle with little trouble, and got the decently cool Crown 'Oozearmor'.

That's where things stand now; pretty good progress for 4 and a half hours, though of course this doesn't count the N iterations I suicided for the start.
