Ditched a couple of magical armours so I wasn't slow, and decided to bite the bullet. Nearing the vault, I get hit with a firebolt, duck for cover, but have misjudged the direction the attack came from, another firebolt. Tried to activate =Teleport, and what happened when I failed (as you see) really wasn't pleasant.

Most Embarrasingly, my high scorefiles has recorded "killed by a water" for posterity!

Back to the drawing board...

Btw, Bandobras (I figure you'll read this) Is the current state of =Teleport intentional? They are cursed, and descript says they cause random teleportation, but they don't and in fact activate for teleport! They still have 0g value.

Hmm, firefox's dict doesn't include the words teleport or teleportation... or "firefox" amusingly!

About the ring, the original idea, inspired by TOME was to let it teleport you once, then get destroyed. But TOME has targeted teleportations and activation in Un is usually much harder, until deeper, when wearing the ring is no longer tempting, anyway. So this is balanced OK as is, IMHO.

However, now that the ring is good, it should cost some money and not pseudo-id as broken. Also, it should be activable not only when IDd by a ?ID (e.g. ring specialist ID should suffice, perhaps some pseudo-id, too, as soon as you know it's not cursed?). Also, the rings should always be generated cursed (one more balancing act and some bonus fun). The random teleportation in description should only be displayed when they are cursed (is it not?). The activation only when they are not cursed.
