This is my first 50th level character. I've got the late-game warrior blues (I feel like I need better equipment to make up for the lack of spells providing healing/temporary resists/etc). Should I dive further? I'm mostly collecting items and fighting uniques right now.

There's no reason not to dive further. The only real difference between 4050 and 4900 is that the drops are somewhat better at 4900.

Personally, I hate aggro, even with powerful chars, so I'd be looking to drop Haradrim at the first opportunity- Trickery would let you do this and would also take you past +22 Speed. Evenstar is generally pretty useless- at the moment all it buys you is rDark.

I see that !rPoison has finally made it into V. I think I'll be sticking with 3.0.x for the foreseeable future.

Just after the comment about trickery, I found one! Later I found Nenya!

My good speed ring's only +8, so taking of the +6 one for nenya lowered me a bit. But cold immunity is awesome.

Things have been going OK in the 90's: I killed the Morgul lord and things have been OK. That darn Skeleton King has been giving me problems, and I did run into the Tarrasque and Huan just now (in fact, Huan lowered me to around 100 HP with a lite/shard breath combo, which was scary!)

Still waiting on resists, a better shield and a better weapon.

I should buckle down and kill morgoth now I guess.

Have you won before? If not, looks like you are about to, so premature congrats. Don't get lackadaisical.

Morgoth is dead! Long live Mogden VIII! A moment of silence for his seven unlucky predecessors.

Also, it's worth noting that the development version seems a little wonky--check out Morgoth's Iron Crown for example.

Thanks aeneas! I tried fighting him once before and had to make an expeditious retreat. This time I was much more methodical!
