Just picked up Dethanc, but I might look for a (Chaotic) weapon to replace it, because I barely do any melee and still suck at it, but a chaotic weapon will give me a Chaos patron that helps my mana cost for Chaos spells, a big plus.

I'm encountering a LOT of random uniques in the dungeon. I have no idea if these are uniques left over from my brief previous game, or if they have been randomly generated on the fly during this game. Either way, it adds some spice and some extra challenge... some random uniques are wimpy enough to basically ignore, but a lot I have to be wary of: unique young or mature dragons can pack a punch, and the Mystic Champion I ran into very nearly killed me.

Seriously need a kit upgrade; just got -Percep, that should help. This dungeon has great rods/wands/staves/potions/scrolls, but not a lot of combat stuff on the floor in vaults. I may have to eventually start looking elsewhere, once my stats are maxed out.
