rec.games.roguelike.development looking glass
As of March 31 2008, my ISP's USENET feed provider ceased to exist (buyout by another company). Since that date, I no longer have any access to the USENET. Therefore, I am forced to discontinue r.g.r.a frontend on Angband.oook.cz website.

I agree that the current situation of the roguebasin isn't tenable.
The difficulty of new users being created has been a problem multiple
times.
All else being equal, I'd prefer the roguelikedevelopment.org domain
over the newer roguelike.us merely because it has a longer history.
The migration route would be, in my mind:
1) Choose where new hosting will be.
2) Setup the wiki with new anti-spam stuff & copy the data base
3) Verify with community that new location is functional.
4) Lock down edits on old site
5) Update the various links on the internet to the new site.
6) Replace old site with an announcement & redirect of the new
location.
