So, I'm in the Warg quest with just a evolved scrawny horse into a horse (-1 speed). So i was about to suicide about this failure of a horse.

"You have a very bad feeling about this level". Cool! Must be the Wargs tho.

One room further... Is that my third lvl spellbook? Yes! Right... Dlvl 5.

Comment: I am surrounded by every late game unique. If I had managed to find just '1' quickness potion, I think I could've pulled the victory out, even at this moment. Classic HM impatience, but oh what a glorious feeling! RARGH!

Comment: Exceedingly rare footage of me sneaking, somewhat successfully. If I can find a little healing and maybe quickness easily, I might manage a silmaril and escape.

Sil: Turkano Brawl

Comment: This character was worth it just for this fight... it was violently gratifying. I held nothing back... I buffed str, dex, grace, drank quickness, ate rage, and busted out the old hammer of crumple demon skull when I saw Turkano peeking behind a few Kemraukar, some trolls and a miscast vampire. Song of slaying took off to +8 at least while I was wailing away at everything. Am I doomed for the next fight, yes. Was it totally worth it. YESH!

Comment: Never bothered with the Illusory Castle before at all, and after winning, though I'd check it out with this character. Little did I know that Machine even existed, much less how totally maddening it is to get around. I resorted to a LOT of Armageddon Protection runespells so that I could figure out how to get around. Lights up the path nicely like the yellow brick road. Unfortunatly, my dragon possessor forgot to bring Thrain's wand with him, and I'm not Flying, so I can't get through the rubble to the real exit. I'll just have to recall.

Angband: Buzzkill's pacman vault

Comment: I promised Buzzkill I would post a screencap of a Pacman vault if I ever came across one in a game. So here it is.

Now, the question is should I bother with it. No TO have been found yet, and there are a lot of nasties, including Uvatha who's lurking on the other side (along with another medium vault)

Angband: 3d box vault and stinknasty tactics

Comment: So, here is this cool looking new vault. I dig the zig zaggy, get up in a prime spot and mass banish everything but a few uniqeus. Grab +9, +8 speedring, teleport away uniques. When they come back I kill them now that I'm 200% stronger.

I suck. I realize that as a player, I'm supposed to adhere to about 100 unspoken rules but I decided today that if the game allows it, I'm gonna do it.

I can't imagine all the mental gymnastics a mage player must do to make sure he isn't breaking game-ethics. Here I am just a dumbass troll with one mass banishment and tele away wand with some recharge scrolls. The risk vs reward here was so out of balance I ruined my own game pretty hard. This is my fault, I understand that completely... but, perhaps making vaults hack proof, like O and FA has, would be a good decision.
