Near death to paralysis
Yes. This is an instance where ToME-SX is definitely harder than regular ToME. Paralysis effects always have a 1% chance of affecting a player anyway despite free action. When I saw the "The lord of chance focuses on your eyes! You are paralyzed!" message I thought I'd be dead. Melkor summoned some stuff to "save" me even though they couldn't even dent the bastard, and the very next thing I did was quaff a healing potion; I *could* still have died to raw chaos but got lucky there.
