I tried to fight Jormungand an hour or so before this death, and even his J summons in the openings he made were bad enough to force me to teleport - though of course TomeNET Js are worse then the vast majority of variants I've played.

The D pit certainly was nice - I was looking forward to finishing it after I took out that damn Chaos Beastman - though I suppose the fact that it arrived around the same time as Carcharoth should have tipped me off that it was more then that. They were probably chilling in a vault together.
