Well, maybe not. Note to self: Do *not* expand horizontally before killing an Amberite! Wow. I killed Brand, got the curse, automatically failed all saving throws, got turned into a statue and surrounded by Glaaki, The Yamata-No-Orochi and a Cyberdemon (and some others, but I forget), got taken from full hp down to 100hp and somehow ... somehow ... woke up to teleport away. (At that point, the fail rate on the scrolls should have kicked in for cosmic justice, but did not).

OK, I just need to be careful about when I expand myself. Still, its an amazing talent for the mystic to have and one I didn't realize when picking this combo. For the Death Stance is rather risky otherwise ...

Oh, I think at some point I tweaked the paralysis duration on the TY curse? Well, thank goodness for that :)

I have forgotten about this quest for a long time since it is a death trap for the unwary. Now, you just need to kill the Archliches, I know, but they can teleport you away into death central, from which there is no escape. But I'm pretty freaking powerful, so I entered the quest and teleported myself immediately. I kill any druj with just two rounds of lightning eagles and my stealth is such that none woke up until they felt my lightning fists! Pretty easy, actually, but I've lost many a character in this quest. Of course, nearly 1600 damage per round helped quite a bit.

And why is this quest worth doing? Bilbo is nice, of course, but the replacement is just as good. Better for me, actually, as I can finally swap in my super helm in preparation for The Jewel of Judgment (still missing). That, and Vilya, are all I want!
