I just finished a quest for Night hags at dlv24 (previous was Beorn at 21), managed to kill them all with high power fire bolts and using corridors to get the first shot through LoS. Luckily none fired darkness storms or summoned, but that might be because I killed all of them in only a few fire bolts (OoD aimed to hit right next to them while they were coming near me softened them up).

Hope I can win with this char! BTW the Beacom of Om is my aggravation swap, for if I need to lure a monster closer.

Also found Ring of Calfin, which is great too. Reembered that Thengel gave confusion resist, so I swapped in Defender weapon instead of the conf-resisting sword of slay demon, and that let me replace robe of resistance with tunic of health, so ater this equipment juggling Star is very strong.

I still need poison resistance though, only have 29% right now.

My equipment improved some, but overall I think I'm about as strong as I'll get.

Thanks for the info Pav. Game was getting boring so I killed Morgoth at clv46, powerdove the last 20 levels. Absorb Hit + the resistance spell makes everything easy. Most things were killed with "strategic line of sight". But with Absorb Hit and my speed I could just pointblank Mana Bolt a, say Grand wyrm of time (had a quest for 25 of them) for 5 stars and it wouldn't get to do anything serious. If it summoned I just DDed away.

Fun game! The quests really made diving alot faster. I think I'll take a break from Ey and go watch Matrix Reloaded :)

I did win ToME once at clv42 so this isn't the all time record though. BTW is there way in Ey to see # of monsters killed? All I can get are individual monster stats. I won Z once with 2800~ enemies dead so I want to see if i can break that record too :)
