Skillmasters are able increase Base Speed because of its class alone. Skills gained by the Skillmaster class and by choice. The damage is kind of from the Skillmaster but largely much more because of the Tonberry class alone!! Being a Skillmaster will mean that your weapon proficiency is definitely based on how much skill points are put on that weapon class. So, with zero points, you're stuck at unskilled.

And being unlucky is a major factor in my character anyday

If you have looked at dumps for comp 206 you may have noticed that I decided to go the skillmaster route with a lot of my characters. It's a fun class to play.
