Although my deepest kill is Orfax, I think Wormy generally ranks as a harder kill. I was about to leave the level, when I noticed him nearby (he'd stolen 2x already). There was a nice long corridor, so I pelted him with lightning bolts and dark bolts. Then, as he approached, I pillared him for 2-3 rounds and he dropped. Bat form is really nice, even when you consider the lower damage per round and penalty to str and int.

I look forward to determining what these excellent items are (long bow is clearly velocity +1)

Well, normally I am apt to loath switching weapon types midstream, but I'm going to have to stick with Gondricam for a while. With Rbase, regen, SI, brandAcid, and +3 dex and stealth, it's a *great* diving weapon. It means that other than FA, I don't have much to worry about (aside possibly form damage output).

Hmm... it seems I'm up to a third attack. Sweet. Still need to switch occassionally, but I like having RBase covered. Regen is really nice too.

Well, as usual, I'm slowing down a bit. However, gear and stat-gain are progressing somewhat. Elvenkind and Magi means I don't need gondricam for the resists.

Also, rings of con+4 and amulets of int+5 don't grow on trees -- I'm glad to have such good items already. Next good ring of con will probably get worn, as I now have free action from wrestling.

I keep writing up a dump, but forgetting to dump it.... not this time.

Hmmm... my turns just exceeded my dlevel. That's not a good sign. Hopefully I'm almost to finding a speed item (wink wink nudge nudge) to speed things up. I haven't been using bat form, but I think I'll go back to using it. A little speed goes a long way.

Found hammerhand and a second augmentation (first was a good drop). That and a few potions of con means my hp is suddenly decent, so I expect diving is a little more practical now.

Just picked up identify, but I'll hold onto the staff because it's faster/cheaper to use.

Found some runegold, so I put 15 into armor crafting to make something, and got a shield almost identical to my armor (missing stealth and rfire). Still better than what I had, so it's equipped now.

Looking forward to something good in an armor slot. Found an amulet of the magi on a spectral killer -- now have a source of Rconf, which is amazing.

Dive time.

Ouch. Ran into a GV with Baphomet, Shelob, Smaug, and untold other nasties. Left.... quickly. Well, not quickly enough, as I had to teleport bounce between several nasty places. Quaffing CCW or Healing as need be. Unfortunately, those healing are mostly irreplaceable.

Upon return, a rod of teleport away showed up. I guess now it's really time to suck it up and get rid of bat form. I don't think I can manage to activate anything reliably, and that thing will help a lot. I guess I need to find more solitary ancient dragons to kill.
