Much better luck with CON this game, and an early speed ring, but poor luck with offense. No MB6 and not much in the way of attack wands.

DL55, 1.4M turns, CL34., 5725 kills and 37 uniques killed. I was maintaining a rate of 3/4 uniqes per DL but fireball and acid bolt are not doing the job any more.

Don't know exactly how much difference it really makes in the style of play compared to MHDSM though .. you'll still want to wear a =Speed and a =CON and an amulet giving Free Action (at least until 100% save; preferably Magi because of the INT boost). The rDark eliminates blindness due to breath attack (since the HElf already has rLight), which is a good thing. There's only a handful of things that have a Blindness melee attack (Gabriel springs to mind) and it's unlikely you'll be fighting much of anything HTH anyway. You might be able to dispense with the heavy Teleportation staves (?). It definitely increases the chances of surviving that unexpected "it breathes" attack.

I lucked out with =speed+11 from a lesser titan in a giant pit I cleared on DL99 before fighting Sauron, but will have to make do with =con+5. With only 631 hp [mass] banishment while in Morgoth's LOS may be risky.

When M got too close, I'd teleport self and trek to the other moated room and repeat.
