This girl is looking great with only Melee and Evasion, and nothing else...so far!

I have TWO choices:
Either (1) continue on with just these TWO

OR

(2) "Bail out" (i.e., forget the Melee & Evasion only challenge) and get Will (and/or other additional ability trees as well).

We'll see what goes...

I have to admit that Saitnar sure as hell make life a lot easier, even the Wraiths don't stop me from having fun.

Good luck! I hope you find a good helm of defiance or similiar. Scary with Will at 3

Interesting that you continue to use the opportunist gloves at -1 strength... I guess I wound run away from this guy too! I think Aeglos is +1, 1d9, or very similar. I remember it being pretty recognizable from basic attributes.

Since you mainly use 2handers, why did you take momentum? Were you sword and shielding at some point? Just curious. I don't see how you make the early 2hand work. I make the decision to jump to 2hand, if at all, way late, when there is enough damage to 1 hit kill the monsters, or actually kill ancient serpents. You move so fast though, maybe that is what I'm missing. I can't sprint and I grind grind where you fly fly. I will try again at some point.

For some reason, I thought Momentum added some benefit to heavy two-handed weapons. Or maybe it's meant for lighter weapons?

I DO move very fast...I have Sprinting and I always make an effort to get Sprinting because it helps defensively and offensively. Defensively, it helps me out of tight situations, which happen to me very often. Offensively, it helps me to make quick -HIT AND RUN- moves on certain deeper monsters.

Yeah, momentum doubles weapon weight in regards to strength sides. But, the same time they introduced that, they made weapons have a flat 1 side per 1 lb, not 1.5 anymore for 2hand. It's almost like 2 handers already have momentum. Saithnar at 7lbs would only benefit from momentum if you hit an '8' or higher strength, which is perfectly plausible for buffed fights though likely out of your reach currently, but, say Glend... you will not likely break 12 str even buffed. I would guess that they meant to make really light weapons more damaging... say < or = 2 lbs, but it also makes things like battleaxes and bastard swords in the 5 lb range really deadly for buffed up fights. You likely know most of that, but, there it is anyway. :)

That makes more sense...I'll keep an eye out for the next Glamdring, Anguirrel/Anglachel, or Mithril Greatsword I see

Ugh...Stupid Troll guard killed me at the same time I struck a hit.

As it you can see, I decided to go get Will while I was at it, and you can tell it was probably worth it.
