Made a personal record (more or less) for the highest AC at clvl 23, an AC of 134. This is by far one of my luckier characters to date. Initially, I wasn't so lucky...I received a Ring of Damage (+2) for the Wargs Quest. After that, the fun really started after finding and using a Morning Star (Death) dropped by Smeagol. Then, I found The Dog Collar of Wolf, The Metal Cap of Thengel, a Blue Dragon Scale Mail, a Pair of Dragon Boots with NetherResistance, and, best of all, the Stone of Lore, all these before clvl 25. And I finished several quests and beaten several Telmora Arena opponents, also, before clvl 25. I'm on the right track. My current weakpoints are damage and speed when I lose the Sasquatch form. Otherwise, I'm good to go.

Grendel's body has served me well since clvl 25, especially since I have accumulated an AC well over 100 (now 132). Grendel's retaliation attack is very effective in crowd fighting. I don't remember where I got Jing Ke from but it is so DAMN good.

Since last time, I killed off several dungeon guardians: Azog, Shelob, King Arthur, and Ubbo-Sathla

I did successfully complete the Sting quest this time at clvl 29 as Grendel. I arrived at the quest with well over 40 !CCW, > 20 ?Teleportation, and ~5-10 !Speed. I didn't use up my consumables. But, this quest was not something to be underestimated...I had to watch out for *shriekers*! What did the trick was this: Use the Rod of Monster Location to scan for *shriekers*...I found a Shrieker Mushroom Patch in the West section. Having noticed that, I immediately used !Speed to kill off the Shrieker Mushroom Patch as fast as possible. That was key! Despite killing it, a good portion of monsters of the Sting quest was already stirred up. I had to stay hasted for most of the quest just to keep up with the monsters' *hasted* speed. I had a close call with a Revenant that casted a Fire Bolt that I was not protected from or reflecting (and this was before I found Rohirrim!). After picking off groups and retreating, I completed the quest.

Rohirrim is a indeed a great asset and replacement for that Blue Dragon Scale Mail I was using before (which I no longer have).

At this point, I'll set out to explore dungeons. If I'm bored, I might go back to Camelot to kill the remaining *named* Camelot Knights.

Finished the Chameleon cave. Very annoying place. Had a close call with that Chameleon Lord in Gwaihir form, who knocked my HP down to double digits. Thankfully, my Teleportation scrolls worked! So far, so good. Still alive! I switched to the Eldrak at clvl 31 for more AC, knowing that Grendel's max clvl is 32. Completed Angband 24 and 38 quest monsters. Found Hammerhand and Elmi the Murder from Gachapin at Angband 31. And YES(!!), I managed to take out THE Stormbringer at dlvl 38, and man, that was *scary*...First, I tried hand-to-hand combat, while hasted with !Speed. Then, I completely ran out of !Speed while the Stormbringer was down to 50% - 66% full health. Rather than bail out (when I should hve), I stayed and tried this: I attacked ONLY if I was at full health at NORMAL speed (+0 speed). Yeah, fighting the Stormbringer at NORMAL (+0 speed) is nuts! When I struck a hit, I checked my health. If the Stormbringer struck a Deep gash, I immediately teleported. If not, then I would pummel away. I did this several more times. I did have another close call... I fought this thing down to the wire, with myself gashed at ~200HP AND with The Stormbringer down to ONE star. And guess what? I struck a successful final hit and subdued it!! After that, I had ~150HP remaiining, used a !CCW, and recalled out. Whew!!!

Took a peek into the Arena (near Zul) and killed off Itangast the Fire Drake with almost trouble. At AC 170+ and 2x Fire Resistance, his Fire breath was doing <50 damage. When he died, he dropped the awesome Sling of Buckland and his corpse. I have just about all resistances covered. I just have to make sure I get Darkness Resistance covered at all times and that I have at least 2x Basic Element resistance in case I run into foes like Scatha the Worm.

I'm debating on whether or not to use Itangast's body...
