FINALLY! A winner! After numerous attempts, including a 50clv Zombie Troll Haftedmaster who died in the Dim Gates, and a 50clv Demonologist who became unwinnable due to the "recall from Mt Doom, Sauron is never generated again" bug, I finally got a winner.

This was a very difficult character to get started, a dark priest is very very weak until the get over the piety hump and start auto-cursing, at which point they become very very powerfull. Morgy was ridicuously easy, I only had to heal twice. Five rounds of attacks on the big guy and the auto-curse he had so generously and foolishly granted me had slowed him to the point he was just a big, helpless target. Then one mass-geno took care of the Wyrms he summoned the first round. After that I don't think he even moved again untill I killed 'im.

I'd like to try a void-diver now but Im still leary of the Mt. Doom bug. I'd hate to put all that effort in and get hung out to dry again.
