I'm going to run a series of Hellboy/BRPD themed characters through Steamband. I get more enjoyment from the game if I can fit it into a story in my head. Man has fallen, and been driven beneath the earth by the horrors the BRPD had been fighting.

Ben Daimio, a BRPD officer, is interpreted as a rakshasa officer, a rakshasa being the closest I can get to a were-jaguar.

Having never gotten very deep in Steamband, most of the threats are new to me, but so far my new focus on caution and running before its too late has gotten him out of a number of scrapes. Most recently, he had to run from (and fail) a quest to take out a set of Intrusion Prevention automata. I'd never seen these things before, and was not worried- turns out he barely hit them and they were tough as stones. So he made a 'tactical retreat', since Ben would certainly never run.

Nothing especially exciting going on yet. We'll see how long I can keep this fellow alive.
