All right! Better finds in the Cloning Pits (including Aule!) and more efficient pathing allowed me to enter Angband at 15:02, which gives me roughly 9 game hours to win with!

Hm, an early RoSpeed find in Cloning Pits or Old Castle would really make this challenge a lot easier... although it's pretty good already with reliable hasting from Mindcraft.

Well, I'm doing OK, but lack of RSound and RShard is starting to be problematic. And apparently I didn't learn my lesson well enough from last time... 20 ?o*ID* is way too few, considering this is more or less an Ironman game.

First RoSpeed (it's a +6) from the Witch King, but I have only 3 game hours left to go. It's annoying because killing any strong unique takes me down to like 300 HP, which then take forever to regen. Maybe I should play a Barbarian next time, if this guy fails as well.

Soulkeeper finally bumps me up to Clvl 50, and wow! 1500+ HP. Also, I figured out the way around slow regen.. Drain Life weapons! Now, after I fight a tough unique, I scour the levels looking for ancient dragons, or "delicious little chunks of HP", as I like to call them.

Dead, killed by a bad teleport on dlvl 100. After killing Oberon amazingly with only 2 !oHealing and 1 !o*Healing*, I descended to 100. Try to save a few turns by teleport, and land in a huge room with wide-awake higher-demons lead by Lungorthin. Even with +32+10 speed, it's 1000 HP to -10 before I could react.

Oy, and I really thought I could do it this time...
