My first 1.0.3 character, and my first FA game in a while. Also the first Petty Dwarf Mage on the ladder. She was off to a promising start finding both a sling and ammo. I chose the beguile specialty and combined with her natural abilities managed to slow and kill Brodda at CL9 DL9. He gave up the Magestaff of Burning. Everything was looking up. I had detected the shaman that killed me, and was headed for cover, so I could better deal with him, when he cursed me to death (2x in a row). I'm a little bummed out right now. I forgot how much I enjoy FA after not having played it for a while. Instantaneous pseudo and the magestaff activation still seem too good.
