Mim is slain! Wow! That was _hard_. After killing both his sons I thought he will be easier. But then the first time I've seen him here goes the first suprise --- he is quick. Then I scummed a lot of levels to get some favourable terrain, got nice patch of water, lured him there and then the terrible truth is revealed --- he resists all I can throw at him (except Wither Foe, which is 54% fail and too expensive for the damage). He resists even my three killer throwing spears of lightning! I really pity mages with their magic missile... But this is not the end of nasty suprises--- two times that I managed to lure him over the water and hurt him a bit, he starts healing immediately... In the end I did not use the single potion of Restore Mana nor the two wands of Shrapnel (too little damage, after all), but I killed him solely using arrows, before his mana was even at 8 stars. My bow is awful, just (+9, +8), but the 61 arrows are 1d10, bought in the shop and enchanted with piles of scrolls to (+8, +7). I thought I'm paranoid to hoard those scrolls and buy the arrows, but this is just what saved my honour (and life --- I've stored my WOR scrolls and lots of other non-offensive supplies just by the battlefield).
