Scummed town and dlvl 1 to gather money for the basics, and some basic armor. The strategy so far is to drink a !speed before WoRing back down. If I land on stairs, I'll stair scum until I land in a dark room, then while still hasted will ?light. If it's all clear, and there's stuff around, I'll collect, and scum more.

So far the highest XP monster I've seen that I've thought about attacking was a Werewolf, but I want something much more ... dangerous... than that. Scariest moment so far was a pack of Blink dogs. Moved one space to get an item off of some stairs, and ended up being bounced around a bunch. Used up a lot of ?Phase to get out of that mess...

The 6 xp was all a mistake. I've killed 1 Rock lizard, and I tested a wand. Forgot that it'd give me xp for id'ing it by use.

So far I've stood next to 6 of the orc uniques while stair scumming. I scum town on occasion, I'd like to find some !con or =con, so I can take some hits. So far the only thing that saved me from the bad luck I've had so far was my AC.

Biggest scares were mostly due to lighting up rooms after I'd use stairs. I once woke Adunaphel from across the room. Had a bunch of luck with hounds not breathing on me after being woken (before I found the speed boots). Once when attempting to get to stairs after a WoR back down I had a ninja run up on me. He hit me once and poisoned me, and missed the other two attacks. Took me down to 9hp.

I had to start carrying the -D/T destruction because I kept opening locked doors. I was surprised how much good luck this character had in just pulling out good escapes.
