What I want to ask you is why did you leave Thengel and Narthanc behind?
Thengel isn't generally a super good mage headgear but it does have 9 points more AC than your current helmet and it has the confusion resistance. Cap of seeing is a good item but at least I wouldn't have left Thengel behind. SeeInvis is easier to come by than rConf later.

Your flail has good properties but Narthanc doens't need that many stat gains to reach 4 attacks. Even with 2 attacks it is an excellent weapon for killing weaker monsters. Do not disregard melee attacks as a mage.

I'm also diving pretty steadily, i figure there isn't any difference between -1 hp and -300 hp so why not run down and try to get the better loot as soon as possible?

Or are there some key resistances I'm missing that I should fill before going deeper?

I left those behind as I figured in the long term I'd want to avoid melee, being a scrub I figured it might lure me into some bad habits. You're right, I should have stashed the cap in my house. Trying to get better about using that strategically.

Got really lucky with tomes, so I'm leaning fairly heavily on 'resistance' right now. I'm ready to replace my melee weapon, I mostly had it for regen and I have an amulet sitting in my house, but need something else to run along. Got the bow from the fire drake, ~240 damage per shot on things not resistant to thunder will really help me out I think.

Around these depths, there are several monsters that have Cause Mortal Wounds spell, which can kill you outright from 172 HP afaik. With saving throw of 71%, I'd avoid every one of those encounters. I don't remember all of those but out of the common monsters at least Vampire Lords, Partiarchs, Knight Templars and all higher Lich do have it.

Just need to keep diving, and get some of the weirder resistances as well as tenser's which has proven to be really elusive.

Also apart from first four spellbooks, those rarer ones can never be destroyed from inventory. So no use carrying several Resistances/Raal's copies. I dunno know if Harowen/master thief can steal them but other ways of them disappearing from the inventory, I cannot come up. Well, you're not gonna let any thieves next to you anyway :)
