I didn't get any amazing finds, and was particularly low on Healing and Banishment for the end game. The battle with Morgoth was very fraught, and only a huge number of Teleport Other and Annihilation charges got me through, *just*.

Ideally using Potions of Enlightenment, but there are never enough, so I'd cast Identify Objects then immediately teleport and try again if nothing obvious, then descend if still nothing. Obviously that means missing some great finds and there might not be time to get a 'feeling' score for that level before you descend.

I also use Stone to Mud a *lot* to take shortcuts to gear or stairs, instead of taking the long way around.
