I was trying to survive around 2000' and had no damage-dealing capacity at all. I couldn't even take down young dragons. After a couple close calls, I decided to screw the turn count and move back to levels where I could actually kill stuff and hope to get a bow or something. After all, it's "Winner, then turns" - no point trying to reduce turncount if it means that I'm not going to win the game.

A low level unique dropped a helm of ESP (which I was rather happy to find), and then found Thranduil just a couple levels later. When it rains it pours. Just recently found the gauntlets of power - I was at one blow most of the game ever since a Gain1STR-Lose1DEX potion drain my dex.

Still no sign of a -TeleOther. :(

Time to descend more, I think.

Also, how do you update an old dump instead of creating a new one?
