Zerkers are OK, but you can only skim effectively for a limited amount of time at DL1. After that, you must dive and suffer the consequences!

After about a dozen 'zerker deaths, including one to the Serpent, this guy has secured the Stick of Halfheart courtesy of the Unicorn of Order. Pure sweetness ... (OK, he is a spectre, but for a long time I only had an 80% life rating so it was not exactly smooth sailing. Also, my previous death to the Serpent was a non-lazy spectre 'zerker).

Oh, I totally missed that Brand came with ~U. So, the Plain Gold Ring lit up like a Christmas tree under my telepathic gaze. And whompers. Killed without a single resource consumed, and only took 600hp in the exchange. Of course, I think the Yumi is less powerful that Brand for me, but I retire with it anyway :) Hurray for the Stick!!!!
